August 20-21, 2005

Come join the fun for this cruise to one of the best, newly-expanded cruising destinations on Lake Michigan. Enjoy dinner at Kenosha Yacht Club and cruise back under the light of the silvery moon.

1630 Cocktail Party on grassy knoll near KYC

(BYOB - please bring an appetizer to share)

1830 Dinner at Kenosha Yacht Club’s Blue Fish restaurant

2030 Depart for respective marinas under the moonlight

Tie up on the north sea wall of the Kenosha main channel. Rafting up is permitted. Sea wall usage is free, but cleats are widely spaced. Bring plenty of line and fenders. Plan to rendezvous at the Kenosha Yacht Club by 1630 for an informal cocktail party. Party is BYOB and please bring a small appetizer to pass.

Dinner is separate checks at Kenosha Yacht Club’s Blue Fish restaurant. The restaurant is located in the KYC with indoor and outdoor seating available. The restaurant is under new management that’s eager to serve your every need. We need a reliable count for dinner, so a $10 per person deposit is required. Your deposit will be returned to you at the Blue Fish. (Sorry, no refunds for no shows.)

Kenosha

Kenosha is in the process of revitalizing the downtown area. Cornerstones of the effort are the Harbor Park condominium project along the south side of the river and the newly refurbished Southport Marina. Come early and explore the city. Take in the Heritage Museum or the Kenosha Public Museum. Enjoy a ride on the Kenosha trolley or just walk the banks of the river.

Can’t Make the Cruise? Join Us for Dinner

Just take the land trail (I-94) to Kenosha and join us for dinner. All are welcome to make new friends, catch up with fellow members and share a laugh or two.
